Hilary on Being a Serious Actress:

Yes, heaven forbid you have to earn your way as an actress with challenging, significant roles. Anything but that!
Hilary on Diversity:
"Mom always tells me to celebrate everyone's uniqueness. I like the way that sounds."- Hilary Duff
She just doesn't practice it. Rumor has it that Hilary called Evanescence's lead singer, Amy Lee, "freaky". In fact, she said, "She really freaks me out..the music, clothes, and her CD cover was so ugly. I mean, seriously it's way too much for kids to see". Nice way to celebrate someone's uniqueness.
Hilary on Song-Writing:
"I actually didn't want to have control of the writing on my first album. To write, you have to have time to connect with yourself. I don't have that time right now, because I'm so busy."- Hilary Duff
Um, wow. I think that says it all. Darling, if you're "too busy" to write songs for your album, *try not PUTTING ONE OUT until you have the time to devote to it*!? It just seems like this should go without saying.
